What a year, guys. What a year! I’ve some time to reflect over the last few weeks as things slow down and the days get shooter, and while this was my busiest year to date, and I don’t think I would change a single moment. When things are at a peak and the summer is moving at warp speed I’m focused on delivering final galleries in the midst of documenting multiple weddings a weekend. One of the things I love most about this quieter season is having the opportunity to go back and spend time with the images I made for other photographers as a second or associate shooter. Once I’ve turned things over to the photographer in charge, I save these memories for review later on when I have more time to spare.
Candis and Lydia hired the remarkable Amy Soper to document their wedding day. Amy is an absolute joy to be around, and I had the chance to work alongside her a couple times over the summer. These beautiful ladies laughed with their whole beings, and partied like rockstars. (Amy’s version of their day is here and deserves a good look!)
